Nick was 23 years old when he tragically lost his life to a heroin overdose, leaving behind a young son and a family that adored him. The all-American boy, Nick was full of life—an athlete who played every sport, a natural leader who made others smile, and someone who always brought people together. His bright personality and love for life were evident in everything he did.

Nick’s struggles began after a shoulder injury from playing baseball in college led to an opioid prescription. What started as a treatment for pain spiraled into an addiction that brought him through cycles of recovery and relapse. Despite trying different rehabs and support meetings, Nick's battle with addiction ultimately led to his untimely death.
